Jord Knotter

Jord started acting back in 1998 at the Youth Theatre School Amsterdam. Since then he has taken numerous classes and workshops at Stella Adler in Los Angeles, Ivana Chubbuck, Josja Hamann, Tony Grahn and Terence Scheurs. In 2012 he graduated as an actor at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Maastricht. In 2014 he got the leading role in the major theatre production 'Soldaat van Oranje'. Jord played in several shorts with directors including Jaap van Heusden and David-Jan Bronsgeest and series like 'Celblok H', 'Flikken Maastricht' and 'A'dam & E.V.A.'. He played in the feature films 'Sneekweek' , ‘Alles voor Elkaar’ and ‘Bella Donna’s. Recently Jord starred in the web series ‘De Slet van 6vwo’ and the awardwinning short 'Meet Jimmy’. This year he worked at Theatergroep Suburbia with Albert Lubbers, Het Zuidelijk Toneel with Bram Jansen and Het Nationale Theater with Daria Bukvic. This year Jord will appear in the German series Der Amsterdam Krimi.
