After studying Communication and Media & Culture at the Amsterdam University (UvA), Benny studied at the Netherlands Film Academy (NFA) and graduated as a film producer. ​B​efore and during his study he worked at Oi Mundo Casting ​under Rebecca van Unen for almost 5 years. He started his own film production company Favor Films in 2010 and was praised as one of the “Creative Marketing Talents of the Year” in 2012. In 2013 he founded Favor Talents when he saw ​a​ ​n​eed for a ​healthy approach ​for talent representation. As a member of the ​LGBTQI+ community he ​states the importance of ​an equal and inclusi​ve industry.

Benny Stroet

Walt grew up in the North of The Netherlands where he attended Youth Theater school. At age 16 he played a lead in a Dutch youth series and in films like Barrière and Dubio. After he graduated from Theater School Noorderpoort Art as an actor he played in Lieve Mama a show by Jelle de Jonge, starred in the series MAUS and the film Neontetra by Emiel Sandtke. For Neontetra he was nominated for a Dutch Academy Award in 2021. In 2021 he also played a lead in one of the episodes of the 2nd season of the Topic show Arctic Circle. Recently he played a supporting role in The English, an Emily Blunt lead Amazon & BBC show. In March 2023 Rabbit Hole will premiere on Paramount+. In this show Walt plays the lead of The Intern opposite Kiefer Sutherland, Rob Yang and Charles Dance.
